Mobile Game Guides
This is exclusively a list of guides for games that can be played on mobile devices – they are playable on PC through desktop clients or emulators.
Please note that links may contain outdated content, or were removed from the internet (it might be accessible through archive sites).
These links are not ranked in any particular order – however, guides with outdated content are usually placed lower. Games are listed in terms of how currently interested I am in them.
BTW, most game subreddit wikis list guides + links to guides, with high quality links and (probably more) frequently updated than here. This page is really more for personal reference. Suggestions are always welcome, however.

★ Q: Can I ask you to promote my guide/site/channel/etc. here?
A: No. I don’t have any particular criteria for judging what goes on here, but I won’t accept any requests promoting your guide.
This may be revised in the future. But currently I’m busy, so I won’t be able to update this site every day with requested guides.
*
★ Q: What if a guide is gone/a guide isn't being updated anymore?
A: I will update accordingly. Feel free to drop me a message at @cygniius on Twitter if this happens.
*
★ Q: What if a channel isn't doing guides for x game anymore?
A: As stated above, drop me a line and I will note this.
Usually unless the channel is deleted, the videos will still be archived somewhere on the channel, which is useful.
*
★ Q: What’s this page for?
A: It collects a bunch of guides I found useful in my experience playing these mobile games.
I made these pages solely for personal use, but others are welcome to use it.

Note: Guides listed here do not express endorsement from authors, nor do I endorse the authors or contents within. I do think they’re worth a look, though.
some old notes moved from the ramblings.html section
I wrote all this back in 2020 so it’s super outdated but you can still read it if you want. I’m only adding it here for archival purposes – I have a soft spot for old writings I’ve done. It’s a bad habit but I like to save them somewhere just to see what I thought years ago. Some of the formatting has been cleaned up for easier reading, however no text has been altered. Text begins at the “ignore this” part below.
Feel free to ignore this.
Azur Lane:
Yes, I
noticed that many of the guides I linked have either been abandoned
or not updated in a long while (the exception being YWIS’ GitHub
guide and the stat spreadsheet).
That means you:
A. Have to theorycraft for the newer stuff
or
B. Ask the community for advice (not recommended, especially any advice from me).
Luckily these guides have yet to outlast their usefulness. Despite their mostly dead status, I find them to be helpful as the guides are definitely written with a “newbie-focus” in mind. Plus, it’s not like the old content is irrelevant today. Nothing’s changed in the meta for quite a while (the exception being the newest PR/DR ships and Richelieu... kinda) and the equipment guides are tried and true even if they don’t cover new equipment.
I strongly suggest ignoring any tier list you come across, no matter what it is (unless it’s a bust size chart) because what a good team composition is varies from individual to individual and it’s better to look at each ship in-depth and see what you can build around her then to look at a tierlist and go, “oh, I’m just slapping Monarch, FdG and Hood in my backline and Roon, Saint Louis and Zara into my vanguard because meta lul,” which is a terrible mindset to have.
Ignoring the tier list that other players make will also apply to my other ramblings here quite a bit, so prepare for that if you haven’t already.
Where can I see the barrage
animation now?
You can find it at the CN wiki (Biligame
wiki) now. They used to be at the Joyme domain but I have no idea
what happened to it. They’re still managed by the same wiki staff
(I’m assuming this of course)
September: Gave this page a major revamp in 2025. All previously added guides have been consolidated here for archiving purposes + cleaned up for readability, however most of these lists will not be updated further (except in rare circumstances -- I don’t play these games anymore).
January: Cleaned up some sections
Not a random ass chick tract section but some misc thoughts I can’t fit elsewhere
Looking back, I’ve played a lot of gacha games, from FGO to Crash Fever (rip to a real one). As a general disclaimer, try not to get too engrossed in these kind of games – sure, they have their time and place, but really try not to make them your primary hobby (in gaming). The state of the games industry in recent years is a bit sad, and I would really love to see people harness their creative talents for games that don’t revolve around lootboxes/real-money transaction gambling. This is rich coming from me, adding this to a section literally about free mobile games with predatory monetization schemes, but it’s just a little thought. There have been some really good indie games nowadays, but it almost seems to be overshadowed by games with lootboxes, especially on social media platforms. Gaming outlets are good resources to counteract this phenomenon (especially “mainstream” publications like Rock Paper Shotgun), and so are contests/festivals (like the ones hosted on itch.io). By the way, you should really check out the indie visual novel “Distant Oceanic Getaway,” a sapphic dating sim. Actually this whole section just turned into a VN shill i'm out
